I agree wholeheartedly w/this editorial re: recent Visalia building projects. This sentence killed me: "Sadly, it wasn't that long ago when the standard
for commercial construction in Visalia was the typical eight-unit
office park with eight identical buildings. Shopping centers were built
in a style that could best be described as American McGasMart."
American McGasMart. Yeah... that and "American Could-Be-Anywhere Big Box Strip Mall".... just say no to every city in America looking exactly the same...
